I travel to the nextdoor neighbor country of Rosalia where I hear about a test of courage about claiming a feather from this giant bird dude. I'm saving a lot! Taking the other option I approached the hydra and was tasked with getting her some shoes from a nearby bird god on a mountain (? why do either of them need footwear ?). Not knowing what to do next I found my way into ending the depths of the earth where I accidentally challenged a hydra to battle and immediately died.
Ran to the entrance and got immediately lost, so it is true to the name! After I got the story introduction out of the way I bid my witch godmother adieu and messed up some evil God worshipers in the nearby town.
